Here are some of the worlds I created using the Void Mirrors ❤

Hello!
I'm Mari. An artist, Game developer, and Vtuber.

Here are The Gates you can find me or my servants in~

MariCore

An Eldritch ghost that lives in a vast empty space she named "The Void"

Her appearance is that of a tall lady with a white face and a pitch-black body, hair, and eyes. adorned in a simple white dress with a black ribbon as its only form of decoration. Hands with long pointy fingers like knives.

She spends most of her time walking around in the void and peering into other worlds/dreaming, seeing what they're up to.

As she watched the worlds and saw how lively they were, she wanted to have worlds and creations of her own.

She then became obsessed with collecting body parts and fueling them with her soul to make them "sentient" and then putting them in a world of her creation for them to fulfill their roles

But it was not enough, she too wanted others to peer into her worlds and see how they live, cry, laugh, and die too.

Thus it all started when she decided to try and create a gate, where many souls can see her, little did they know, that she had other motives too. after all, her role is to create.

Life in the Void

When Mari sleeps, she can partially leave the Void and -usually- possess a body that inhabits the world she wishes to enter.
And in rare cases, she would cast a curse on someone to do her bidding.
But in order to cast a curse, She needs to be either awake or have her soul split into two; a half stays in the void and a half materializes in the targeted world, disguising herself as a resident of the desired world.

The possession can be confirmed by searching for her curse mark on the suspect's body.
It is made of a circle inside a square, when a curse mark is activated veins build up within the circle and a drop of blood appears in the middle of the circle.

The curse mark can't be broken nor cleansed. Those who are cursed are to meet a gruesome end. Of those who were found, only little remains were found of them. Sometimes as little as a single tooth.
Though there was a rare occasion when a creature can have this curse mark and still live.

At first, she took smaller body parts and sew them together, but that quickly bored her as sewing dead parts can only be so much fun.
So she opted for creating humans. She would begin to take the parts necessary from different realms and start assembling them together, then with her abilities, the body would unify itself into a seamless creation, finally giving them a purpose so they can start living.
Though she isn't fond of creating her own humans as much, so she prefers to create things that are equally beautiful and deadly; Sometimes the scale can tip more to either side.
But above all, they must always have the element of humanity in them.
She never created something completely monstrous, or maybe she just isn't interested in creating mindless creations.

The Creation Of Sub-life

Her abilities of creation are the strongest. She can conjure a sub-soul made from her own, that inhabits the bodies she sews. The sub-soul is made by mixing the sphere of chaos and the cube of order; together they form the sentience of the creation. It enters the body through the mouth and spreads to the heart and then to the limbs.

It takes a few minutes for the sub-soul to set in. and as it crawls over the seams, it mends them to perfection. Then the creature, usually, wakes up with a harrowing scream, it lasts a few seconds due to the intense energy the sub-soul accumulates in the brain and heart to start the functioning of the body's organs. MariCore is to ask them:

"Do you know your name?"

If it answers "yes", then it is told to say its name.

"What is your purpose?"

If the creature answers correctly it is to be sent to its respective world where it will fulfill its purpose.

If it fails to recall its name then the sub-soul is to be extracted and the body placed in the graveyard.
If it fails to answer the second question They're doomed to roam the Void until they either remember their purpose or their flesh rots and they become one with the void.

Due to the scarcity of stimuli within the void, creations sometimes need to be awakened by direct means. A snap of the fingers usually suffices but in the more dire cases, a recall of one's future misery in the world they're meant to be sent to is necessary to awaken them.
